We're Kelley and Aisling and we're the proud owners of Thornrose Game Co.
Getting to know someone can sometimes be an intimidating thing. Not everyone can be a confident conversationalist adept in the ways of wit and humor. Sometimes we're just a couple of people trying to make a connection. We were like that once. Sometimes we still are. However, we discovered a little secret that helped alleviate some of the pressure so that we could truly get to know one another.
We founded Thornrose because one of the things that helped us to connect when we first met were board games. We would settle down for free play at our local game store and took turns sharing some of our favorite games. Card games, engine-builders, cooperatives, and role-playing games. Anything and everything, we played it together.
And in the spaces between dice rolls and card draws, our relationship bloomed. And after that it helped us bring our friends together. Our families together. And suddenly we had this huge group of people we cared about all bonding over the thing that had helped bring us together- board games. We don't play board games just for fun- though that's certainly part of it. We play them because it keeps us connected. It helped us to get to know one another and keep getting to know one another. We still always make time to sit at our table, set out some nibbles, and play a game together. And that's the exact thing we want to bring to you at Thornrose. Whether a new game with old friends, an old game with new friends, or something somewhere in between-

What Is Thornrose Game Co?
Not quite a restaurant, but not quite your typical local game store. Our mission is to bring our guests an experience unlike any other by offering delicious, crafted bites, an expansive game library full of titles both familiar and new, and an enviornment where players of all levels and skills are welcome.
Our staff are just as passionate about and dedicated to board games as our guests. We're always willing to suggest game reccomendations unquiely tailored to you. We're also happy to provide one-on-one instruction on all our games to keep you from having to bother with some of those pesky rule books.
Thornrose is also devoted to bringing our guests uniquely curated events. From themed gaming experiences with specialzied menus, dedicated learn-to-play events, craft and DIY nights, and organized play for your favorite competative games.
We're currently still searching for a brick and mortar location to call home, however, in the mean-time we will be hosting pop-up events in the tri-county area in all manner of spaces from local coffee shops, to community centers, to breweries.
